Follow One Religion But Respect All

It is very difficult to describe religion in few lines as no definition can contain all the attributes of all the religions, hence it will remain incomplete. But for the sake of understanding it can be said that religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and worldviews that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values, defined by Wikipedia.Etymologically, the term religion is derived from Latin word religio which means "respect for what is sacred, reverence for the gods or “obligation, the bond between man and the gods”

In our world there are numerous religions but the five major religions, based on following population are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Chinese folk religion and Buddhism. Every religion is built on the edifice of a thought, the thought of its founder. It is quite interesting to notice that though outer form i.e. the customs and traditions associate with every religion is different but the core of all the religions are same. Many philosophers, who have studied multiple religion in depth felt that the only difference between the core essence of most of the  religions is that of the language.

As a matter of fact, every individual on earth is bound to follow some or the other religion in one way or the other. Reasons to follow might be different but all of them hint towards the basic one which is belief in a supreme power-the "almighty". In other words, people have faith in what we term as magical power. But that very magic begins ones we start believing in it.

Our faith in a belief is always attached to experiences. Initially I had this very idea that there's nothing like supreme power and used to always disconnect any religious idea from my life. But on insistence by one of my friends I attended Nirmal Baba's samagam and was deeply touched on seeing the way he helps out his devotees. Not just this, I also got greatly convinced by his thoughts. I am a completely changed person now and have started believing in the religious practices.

Ram may not visit mosque or Rehman may not visit temple. However, Ram is a regular temple goer. Now this might be because of sincere and honest dedication to one religion, or may be because of disrespect to other religion. The very idea propagated by Nirmal Baba is, to have faith in one religion, at the same time not look down on the rest. He says everyone should be religious, follow his religious practices, visit the holy places regularly. But what he asks people to refrain from is showing disrespect to others religious beliefs.

Being religious makes one feel connected with god. It purifies heart and gives immense peace. While preaching the idea of following single religion he also asks people to keep away from superstitious practices. He also says that, disrespect to some other religion also deprives the devotees from almighty's blessings, as there is only one supreme power. Being religious and sincerely following the religious practices attached to it has helped me calm down as a person and I feel blessed to have someone like him in my life.

Let's support Nirmal Baba

Nirmal Baba’s name is akin to all great spiritual leaders who gave good message to the people, worked for the good of the society. They all worked towards removing social evils from our society.
Nirmal Baba has been a source of blessing to me and thousands like me. His Kripa did uphold us in our time of need. When we felt that we cannot live the next moment, his Kripa came to strengthen us.
Nirmal Baba’s every word or every teaching worked wonders in our life. There were times when we didn’t say anything personally to him but still he understood our needs and desires, our problems and our troubles. With the advices that he gave us, our life turned joyous.
Many of you agree with me when I say that the existence of God became clearer because of Nirmal Baba’s teachings. We found a new meaning to God. We found new road to spiritualism. We could pray to God daily, visit temples frequently, all because of Nirmal Baba’s teachings. We could care more for nature and all other creations of God, because he exhorted us.
Most importantly, we can now live without the fear of various days, planets and all the other-worldly things. It was Nirmal Baba’s teachings that gave us the understanding that we needn’t fear those as they wouldn’t do us any harm.
So now, a Man who taught us to pray to God more than anyone else and asked us to do good, take care of the poor more than anything, is in a state where people are branding him as fraud. If he is fraud then all the above mentioned things and those that we have experienced in our lives will stand invalid.
No we cannot say that we haven’t experienced any of his blessings in our lives.
So then dear devotee/brother/sister/reader/friend of Nirmal Baba, it is time we give something to the man, who has showered innumerable blessings in our life. To the man, who has brought our lives back on the normal track. Now is the time to support him. NIRMAL BABA: FROM THE EYES OF DEVOTEES

Being myself a devotee of the great man. I thought of writing about some good experiences I had with him and also of some others whom I am acquainted with. This is just my small effort for the man who is being ruthlessly tormented by the media.
I was always a religious person, visiting all possible temples and shrines. But my father was almost an atheist. We always used to argue over the existence of God. I was very worried for him. Because my prayers were not bringing any positive results, I too began questioning God’s existence. Once through a friend I got introduced to the programs of Nirmal baba on television. It is then that I realized as to why my prayers were not answered yet. The way I was praying or the customs that I was following was wrong! It is through the effectual counseling that I got through Nirmal Baba, I renewed my prayers in the way he advised and got positive results. My father’s life changed, he now believes and trusts in God more than me! This is one of the many experiences in my life concerning Nirmal baba’s blessings.
The following is the experience shared by one of my closest friend - We all live in this world as mortal beings having all pains and troubles. These are common to everyone but to me it once felt like killing me inch by inch. I decided once for all to end my life, instead of dying day by day. That was day that I met with Nirmal baba. Through my niece who was a staunch believer of Nirmal Baba, I attended his samagam. It is then that I realized what I was about to do. With the one samagam that I attended, my life took a u-turn and came right back on the track. My problem didn’t get solved immediately but I got the courage to fight back. Thus I began believing in Nirmal baba.
This is the experience of my sister-in-law who is a school teacher with rationalistic views. She believes in God firmly and none else. And to her Nirmal Baba appeared as, just a person who was a guiding light towards that Almighty in which we all and he himself believes in. All the allegations by media and others that Nirmal baba claimed himself as God are wrong. Had it been a truth then Nirmal baba would not have advised people to pray to God sincerely, visit temples regularly, give dasawand, etc. He is but a teacher teaching the ways of God to the people. He is like a beacon of light to the people who go astray in the dark.
In all the above mentioned everyone had different experiences about Nirmal baba. We may not believe on him, or on his divine powers but that does not mean that he is wrong or fake and crook as alleged by media. If I am an atheist I have no right to stop other people from following God. Similarly, those people who do not believe in him should not try to shake or break the belief of the people who trust him as a guru, a teacher or as God.

Grace of God

Grace of God is one that is most essential for our living. It is the grace of God that sustains us in our journey on this earth. Without this grace, it’ll become very difficult for us. Now what is this grace all about?
The bhakti literature is replete with references to grace (kripa) as the ultimate key required for spiritual self-realization. Kripa has been categorized in various ways as Ishwara kripa (grace of God), variously Hari Kripa, Shastra kripa (grace of the Scriptures), Guru kripa (grace of the Guru) and lastly Atma kripa (grace of the Self).
In Quran, grace is mentioned as the unmerited favor of Allah. Islam further believes that no man can enter paradise, but by the grace of Allah.  Bible says, “My grace is sufficient for thee” i.e., in Christianity Grace is considered as the spontaneous gift from God to man - "generous, free and totally unexpected and undeserved" - that takes the form of divine favor, love and clemency. That is, we as human beings are unworthy in the sight of God but by his Grace, we can be made worthy.
Today the concept the grace is somewhere mixed with mercy. But it is entirely different from it as mercy means that God feeling sympathy for us and granting us that what we need. It is earned by asking, whereas grace is free. When we do things by grace of God, we do it more efficiently and it becomes more successful than if we do without it .Therefore, grace is a free gift as no man should boast that the work was done by Him rather with the help of God, through showering His abundant Grace upon us.
Those who are atheist or agnostic may not believe in the concept of Grace, but Grace of God is made known to those who believe by various religious gurus. These gurus have themselves experienced this grace and they help the people also to receive it.
One great religious man who always says Grace in all his speech is Nirmal Baba.  Nirmal Baba is a spiritual guru who is blessed with the divine eye. He guides people to righteous ways of living and practicing religion. He has brought about the realization of existence of “All seeing” divine eye of God in devotees’ lives and realization that there are Heavenly Supreme Powers watching over us all the time. He always says that if we do a particular thing that which is pleasing to God, Kripa will be showered on us.
Even amongst the believers, there are many who do not believe the power of Grace as they have not experienced it yet. And on the other hand, stand a whole lot of people who have experienced this wonderful Grace of God, offered freely to them. I myself am a witness to this amazing Grace of God. It always flows to us in time of our need and helps us to do things which we would never be able to do on our own. So those of you who have not yet experienced His immaculate Grace, in your life, its high time you need to. See what wonders it produces in your life.

SPIRITUAL GURUS OF INDIA

India is perhaps the only country on the globe which is full of diversities. Diversity in religion tops the list. No other country follows religions so sincerely and has so many internal disputes on religious issues. Religion is one topic that gets everybody talking, be it those who believe and those who does not.
There are various religious gurus further establish these already found religions. Such gurus make sure that the people of their particular religion follow the set guidelines already jotted down in their scriptures. Anyone interested in the spirituality and mediation looks for a Guru or a teacher who can guide him/her in the right direction. India is full of Gurus, spiritual as well as religious. These are the people who have promoted spirituality, meditation, love, peace, brotherhood, serving others and other such humanitarian values to people in India and the rest of the world.

I would like to mention a few gurus who have personally made an impact on me. One who tops the list is Mata Amritanandamayi. Fondly known as Amma, she has only one aim in life, which is to provide people with her supreme guidance and lead them on a path of sadhana (meditation) and service of the mankind. Meeting Amma for the first time was a wonderful experience for me. Her soothing words, her calm voice, and her calm and composed personality easily makes one forget all the miseries in life. She hugs each and every individual who comes to attend her discourses.

Another leader which made a difference is Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh founder of Osho movement - a spiritual and philosophical movement. As per Osho, there is nothing more valuable or precious in this world than love, meditation and laughter. Enlightenment is the normal state in which a human being lives. It is because of being bounded in the emotional ties that he fails to recognize this state. Meditation is not something that needs to be taught, it is the state of just being.

Yet another spiritual leader is Nirmal Baba who with his wonderful teachings has registered himself in the minds of common people. His simple and honest teachings about following any religion or faith but respecting all have been beneficial to the society as a whole.

Many of these gurus work relentlessly towards easing the sufferings of the people in this world. Their sole mission in life is to "love and serve one and all". They are totally devoted to the well being of the mankind. They start their own missions and ashrams and engage in a whole lot of philanthropic work that serves as a welcome retreat for all those people who have become tired with the pain and suffering in life. Various discourses, provided by these gurus are a welcome relief from the ill will so widespread in this world.

CHRISTIANITY

Ours is a world full of different faiths and beliefs. Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Jainism, Buddhism are among the majorly followed religions. Christianity is the religion which has the most number of world population, followed by Islam and then Hinduism.  . Strangely all religions speak of love and peace.
All religions follow God but in varied forms. Religion is one of the major reasons of fight between countries. But strangely all religions speak of love and peace. All the religious leaders also try to propagate love amongst mankind as their beliefs. Christianity is one such religion which is the epitome of Love of God towards mankind.
Christianity is a monotheistic  religion and based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Followers of this religion are called Christians. Jesus Christ is known as the son of God who came to this earth to redeem mankind. He died for the sins of the mankind and according to Bible, rose again on the third day and later ascended to heaven. The Bible says that those who believe on him will not perish but have eternal life.  Jesus Christ gave love, hope, peace and joy to the mankind. Christianity is perceived by its followers more as a way of life rather than a religion. The followers adopt the traits of Jesus Christ in their day to day life. Simple teachings like being humble, being patient, to be loving and caring towards everyone, etc. are the ones mostly followed by Christians as a whole.
Christains as a whole are a peace loving folks. According to them going to church gives them the much required peace and joy.
I had cherished a long term desire to go to a church which got fulfilled one fine Sunday. The Church did not behold the outward beauty that we have always seen in pictures but very well attracted my attention. On the outside was a cross and on a white board was written, “Come all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. I reckoned that it was a verse from the Bible. I went inside to see the church and got all the more surprised by the whole number of verses written across the walls. One could really feel the peace of God through the beautiful songs and other worship. The songs were really melodious and were sung in a choir which made it all the more heavenly. The sermon was also about love and peace - which in its true sense is missing from whole of humanity.
After listening to the sermon my mind began to wander about what all other religion speak about the same topic. I realized to my surprise that all the religion along with the religious leaders speak of this same topic more often than necessary. Be it the Bishops or other religious leaders like Nirmal baba, Asaram Bapu, all speak of the same. But what effect it has brought to the society as a whole is a question to be asked.
